Renjin update at EuroBioc2017
Parham joined the European Bioconductor Meeting 2017 to share an update on Renjin’s progress in supporting BioConductor packages.
Very exciting that we can announce that over the last year we’ve gone from having only 20% of packages in BioConductor even building on packages.renjin.org to over 70% of packages having at least some functionality running in Renjin.
Much of this progress can be credited to Parham’s heroic work on a new implementation of S4 dispatch for Renjin that he shared at RIOT 2017 as well as a major upgrade to GCC-Bridge, our C/C++/Fortran compiler that we’ll blog about here soon.
